Sherborne Town
History
Hailing from a small market town in North Dorset, Sherborne Town Band was formed in 1961 out of the Boys Brigade Band. By 1965 the band had progressed well to become the 3rd Section National Champions.
The band enjoys support from the local community and performs in and around the local towns and villages as well as entering local and national competitions.
As well as the senior band the organisation also boasts a thriving Youth Band as well as German Band called the Sherbavarian Stompers!
