TRITTICO (James Curnow)
Winwood Music has sent us the following message regarding James Curnow’s “Trittico”:
Regarding an errata, I believe that the very first printing in 1988 contained the following errors:
1. At figure 12 all cornets should be marked ‘Open’ (as trombones).
2. One bar before figure 19 the second note of the euphonium part should be C-flat.
3. Three bars before figure 42 the 11th note of the solo cornets should be F.
4. At figure 44 the second note of the bass trombone should be E-flat.
Any materials purchased this century should be correct.
GHOSTS, GOBLINS, WITCHES & WIZARDS (Darrol Barry)
Bar 9 - Eb Bass second quaver should be B flat
Bar 102 - Eb Bass second quaver should be B flat
SINFONIETTA (Joseph Horovitz)
NEW BEGINNINGS (Frederik Schjelderup)
Last bar - repiano cornet F#. The composer has confirmed that F# is indeed correct: the addition of sharpened 4th in a chord is something he does quite often in his pieces.
