RAH Final nearly upon us!

The National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain 2019, organised by Kapitol Promotions is reaching its climax, with the pinnacle of the whole 10-event series taking place in central London this coming Saturday.

London's iconic Royal Albert Hall will once again host the Championship Section Final of the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain, and will feature twenty of the finest brass bands in Great Britain who have qualified to represent their respective region. Each band will be competing for the National Challenge Trophy and the title "2019 National Champion Band of Great Britain". Foden's (North West) will be looking to retain their title, but they will be against stiff opposition - including Cory (Wales), who will be aiming to record the 2019 Grand Slam (Europeans, British Open & National Finals), and Black Dyke (Yorkshire) who will be seeking to extend their record of 23 "National" wins. The three adjudicators who are tasked with the unenviable challenge of choosing the Champion Band are Dr Robert Childs, Alan Morrison and Rob Wiffin.

Doors open at 09:15, with the first band's performance beginning just after 10:00. The world-famous Black Dyke Band will be providing us with top-class brass entertainment in the Gala Concert before the Results Ceremony, and we are delighted to welcome the Fanfare Team of the Prince of Wales Division to herald the results themselves.

Simone Rebello will once again expertly guide us through the day as our contest presenter.

Tickets are still available to buy directly from the Royal Albert Hall Box Office (+44 (0)20 7589 8212 / https://www.royalalberthall.com/tickets/events/2019/national-brass-band-championships/).

If you are visiting this special event, please make time in your day to visit our supporting companies. There will be exhibition stands situated in the Door 6 Foyer as well as the Heineken Green Room, from companies including World of Brass, R Smith, Denis Wick, Phil Parker Ltd, the Prince of Wales Division, the RAF, Just Music, and Rosehill Instruments.

We look forward to welcoming everyone to one of the most prestigious brass band competitions in the world, to witness the crowning of the 2019 National Champion Band of Great Britain in the glorious setting of London's Royal Albert Hall.
