Trains to Cheltenham Spa run from Paddington Station in London, generally every hour with a journey time of just over 2 hours for a direct train. Trains from New Street Station in Birmingham run approximately every half hour and take about 35 minutes to reach Cheltenham. From Bristol Temple Meads Station, trains leave every hour or so and also take about 35 minutes. Ten minutes should be allowed to reach The Centaur from Cheltenham Spa Station by taxi.
The Centaur at Cheltenham Racecourse welcomes eventgoers with disabilities and offers a range of facilities to enable them to get the most from their day. Cheltenham Racecourse aims to provide an accessible environment for all eventgoers, including the elderly, those with young children and people with disabilities. Where possible, the Racecourse is happy to make special arrangements and assist with any requirements, but these must be made in advance of the contest day. Please contact Kapitol Promotions for more information.
For the Sections 1-4 Finals, accessible toilet locations include inside The Centaur entrance, Istabraq bar, below the Hall of Fame, as well as the Gold Cup & Festival Restaurants entrance foyer. All toilets can be accessed using a Radar Key. For ease, we recommend that you bring a radar key with you on your visit - these can be bought online. If you do not hold a Radar Key, please ask the nearest steward who will be pleased to assist you.
Assistance dogs are welcome to attend with their owners without additional charge, subject to production upon entry of a valid identification document from Assistance Dogs (UK) or an equivalent international organisation. A separate ticket is not required; however, owners should notify Kapitol Promotions in advance upon booking their event day tickets so that any necessary arrangements can be made.
